Biography:

Amjad is an Occupational Therapist, registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). He is qualified and registered in good standing to practice in the province of Ontario.

Amjad completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree at Ryerson University, and went on to obtain his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. More recently, Amjad also obtained a Master of Business Administration from Lazaridis at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Amjad’s experience is in empowering clients to overcome barriers to meaningful activities to help them regain independence. He has experience with assessment and treatment in orthopedic, acute care, complex care, and mental health. The majority of his experience is community-based, working closely with clients suffering from motor vehicle accident-related impairments.

Amjad is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations, Progressive Goal Attainment Program, and Concussion Management. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute. More recently, Amjad has devoted his time to complex seating, mobility assessments, and related equipment provision.
