TITLE: Founder, Managing Director, Occupational Therapist EMAIL: mohammad@londonrehab.ca EXT: 201 BIOGRAPHY: As a Managing Director, Mohammad brings over 15 years of leadership roles in various health care settings, and over 18 years of experience as a clinical Occupational Therapist assisting clients to reach their goals and navigate their therapy and rehabilitation journey. Mohammad played several roles as a direct clinical OT provider to patients/clients in various practice areas, such as acute care, emergency, ICU/CCU, hand therapy, out-patient rehabilitation programs in hospital settings. He has extensive experience working with adults and seniors in the community, clinics, long term care facilities (nursing homes and retirement homes), group homes and more.

Mohammad obtained a Masters of Science in OT (MScOT) from University of Toronto (U of T). Mohammad’s great influential skills, team-work skills, time management skills, role-playing, communication skills, and professionalism led him to various leadership roles. He was also chosen to be the valedictorian of his OT class at the University of Toronto.Mohammad’s ongoing commitment to continuing education, training and professional development led him to gain great skills in seating and mobility assessments, custom seating, accessibility (home and community). Mohammad is also Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer (seating and mobility category for walkers, seating, manual and power wheelchairs).Mohammad is a qualified designated mental capacity assessor in the province of Ontario; he completes legal mental capacity assessments to manage property (finances) and personal care under the Substitute Decisions Act (SDA)1992 for the Ministry of Attorney General (MAG) – The Office of Public Guardian and Trustee (PG&T).Mohammad is passionate about team development, matching professionals and associates with clients and supporting associates in the field of rehabilitation to ensure high clinical standards to meet clients’ optimal level of health, safety, and function. Mohammad’s great management skills and attention to detail is reflected in his overall achievements and management of a professional corporation “London Rehab” that he founded and established in 2012.
